Advanced Eye MDs, PC is Hiring an Optician Near Branchburg, NJ

Optician.

Busy independent Ophthalmology Practice is seeking an experienced, friendly Optician with a fashion sense. Our expansive optical features over 1200 frames, with specialty areas including petites, universal fit, and large tall men's frames. We offer the latest trends in fashion eyewear. The lab is state-of-the-art including a new Neksia edger and blocker. Excellence in patient care is our top priority.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can build relationships with customers and join a team that has served our community for over 20 years!

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting patients with selection & purchase of eyewear in order to look their best,
  • Explaining benefits of specific lenses and lens add-ons,
  • Ability to sell multiple pairs, including computer & sunglasses,
  • Dispensing of eyewear,
  • Frame adjustments and repairs,
  • Lab work, including edging.

Knowledge of vision insurance, VSP & EyeMed, is helpful. Candidate must possess strong customer service skills, be professional, and organized. Come grow your optical skills while assisting our loyal community of customers. This is an excellent opportunity to join our team.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, 401K, 401K match, PTO, paid holidays. Salary based upon experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $42.00 per hour
